Rachel and Bobby first met in Charleston, West Virginia while Rachel was at WVU for medical school. Their relationship grew and when Rachel began an Ob-Gyn residency in Baltimore, Bobby moved as well. In Baltimore they enjoyed playing in sport and social leagues, trying new restaurants, and exploring the city together. One night, Rachel came home late from a particularly difficult at work to find Bobby had candles lit, flowers on the table, and was cooking a dinner of her favorite foods. Rachel was slow to catch on because she was originally supposed to make Bobby dinner that night. Also, Bobby frequently does very sweet things for Rachel. As Rachel was thanking him for rescuing their dinner plans and making the night special, he pulled a ring from the kitchen cabinet. He asked her to marry him and she responded “yes!” through many tears. They could not be more excited for their upcoming wedding and to share it with those they love most.
